
Author Bio
Courtland Morrison was raised in North Carolina. He developed a hobby for writing poetry in middle school. He joined the Army National Guard and served honorably doing 2 combat tours to Iraq. During both deployments he would write for fellow soldiers to help cope with combat and stress associated with it. He graduated from DeVry university in 2016 with a B.S. in Technical Management.
He just recently graduated from Keller university DeVry’s graduate school. He earned his MBA in business administration with concentration in Global Supply Chain Management. My goal has always been to publish my poetry. I have been told I write very well and its a gift. I wish to expand upon this gift and share this extraordinaire talent with the world.

First Steps Book Description: First Steps a debut of poetry. Poetry is known for speaking about love, inspirational, spirituality, and relationships. This book consists of those elements. I write with depth and from the heart. I have been told writing from the heart is like feeding your soul. So by writing this book, I want to feed your heart. I want you feel my experience my joy. I want to take you to another place mentally that will relax and inspire you. Those elements of poetry is therapeutic to let your mind dream and heart flow.
My Path Book Description: My Path a continuation of poetry. This book will delve into a soldiers mind, heartbreak of loss, dedication to family members and others. It allows you to rededicate your faith and to help others to do the same. Writing with depth and from the heart. The constant pursuit to inspire and let poetry be therapeutic to let your mind dream and heart flow.
My Thoughts Book Description: My Thoughts is a poetry book which allows the author to share his personal views on issues that affects everyone. The author address’s issues such as racism, depression, pain, love, and loneliness. The author is being personal and letting people know what he feels daily; as he struggles with health and depression. His desire to have a relationship. He is acknowledging his dreams and nightmares and wearing it as a patch of honor for all to see.
